Toy Chest 2 Vintage 1930s Mini Prints

Designed by Penny Rose Studios for Riley Blake, these fabulous designs lend themselves to quilt making do easily, with an array of colours and patterns that just mix and match perfectly. These fabrics take away the difficulty in choosing co ordinating fabrics.

I made a little baby quilt using just a small selection of fabrics, just 12 squares in the centre with a border around and then a border of squares and finished with a print from the Toy Chest 2 collection as the final border. The squares can be any size you want but the pattern I used was from The Quilting Digest http://quiltingdigest.com/super-quick-and-easy-baby-quilt-new-moms-will-love/

On the original pattern another border of squares was added but I kept mine with the Bo Peep print border, but you could add as many borders as you want, make it as big as you like !

For the wadding I used the Sew Simple Super Soft Cotton it's really soft and great to use!
