A Legacy Brought to Life

William Morris was a visionary. His 19th-century designs — intricate botanicals, flowing vines, and nature's finest details — have never really gone out of fashion. But the Olive Orchard collection takes that heritage a step further, reimagining his iconic prints in a contemporary colour palette, created in collaboration with the V&A Museum.

The result? Prints that feel rooted in history but utterly at home in a modern quilt, a handmade cushion, or a beautifully crafted garment.

Meet the Collection

Olive Orchard arrives in eight stunning prints, each named in true Morris tradition:

• Fritillary — delicate botanical detail with a timeless elegance
• Granville — a classic Morris motif with a fresh, earthy twist
• Brentwood — rich and layered, perfect for statement pieces
• Myrtle — soft and verdant, ideal for blending
• Bachelors Button — a beloved Morris design, beautifully updated
• Golden Lily — intricate and luxurious
• Grafton — flowing and graceful
• Evenlode — a gentle, nature-inspired print with real depth

Each print is available by the fat quarter, long quarter, half metre, or metre — so whether you're planning a full quilt or just want to try a print, there's an option for you.

The Fabric

This collection is printed on 100% organic cotton — Oeko-Tex certified, 42" wide, and beautifully soft to handle. It's suitable for quilting, patchwork, dressmaking, and home décor, and all fabric is cut to order, with multiple quantities cut in one continuous length.

Care is simple: cool wash, line dry, and iron on cotton.

How I Would Use It

The earthy, botanical palette of Olive Orchard lends itself beautifully to nature-inspired quilts — think woodland themes, garden-inspired patchwork, or a sophisticated throw in muted greens and warm neutrals. The prints work harmoniously together, so mixing several from the collection gives a cohesive, curated look without any guesswork.

For dressmakers, the finer prints like Fritillary and Myrtle would make a stunning blouse or lined tote. And for home décor, Brentwood or Golden Lily would be showstopping as cushion covers or a table runner.
